Edward Kramer, 97, died at Roo Lan Healthcare Center on Wednesday, May 26, 2004. Edward was born June 27, 1906 in Stuart, Nebraska to Albert and Mary Kramer. In 1912 the family moved to the Olympia area near the end of Chambers Lake. Ed worked in the local veneer plants, and then operated his own logging company. He was preceded in death by his wife of over 50 years, Lillian (Calloner) Kramer; sons, Roy and William; an infant child; six sisters; and two brothers. He is survived by his brothers, Walter and Robert Kramer, both of Olympia; a grandson and his wife, Eddie and Carrie Kramer; and great-grandchildren, Katie and William. A memorial service will be held at Mills & Mills Funeral Home, 5725 Littlerock Road S.W., Tumwater, Washington, on Thursday, June 3, 2004, at 3:00 p.m. Inurnment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Tumwater.
