Katherine Luedtke

Katherine Luedtke, 72, a resident of Olympia since 1978, died Saturday, Dec. 28, 1991, in Panorama City Convalescent Center, Lacey.

She was born Aug 5, 1919 to Albert and Mary Ann (Kollman) Kramer, in Olympia, the youngest daughter of 11 children. She attended Lacey Grade School and graduated from Olympia High School.

She served in the Woman’s Army Corps during World War II.

She was married to Dale Luedtke in California in the 1950s. Mr. Luedtke preceded her in death.

Mrs. Luedtke enjoyed spending time with her family, sports and gardening.

She was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Lacey.

Surviving Mrs. Luetdke are three brothers, Edward, Walt and Bob Kramer, all of Olympia; three sisters, Sister Stella Marie Kramer, O.P., Seattle, and Gertrude Guiberson and Evelyn Hayes, both of Olympia; also numerous nieces and nephews.

There will be a memorial Mass for Mrs. Luedtke on Wednesday afternoon in Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church , at a time to be announced on Tuesday. Inurnment will be in Calvary Cemetery.

The family suggests memorial donations may be made to the American Parkinson’s Disease Association, Department of Medicine, Division of Neurology, RG 27, University of Washington, Seattle, 98195

Cremation arrangements are by Mills and Mills Funeral Directors, Olympia.
