Helen Sharp
Helen Sharp, 80, a resident of Olympia since 1911, died of natural causes Wednesday, Jan 2, 1991, in Washington Health Care Center Riverside Centralia.
She was born July 10, 1910, to Albert and Mary Ann (Kollman) Kramer in Stevert, Neb.
Mrs Sharp worked for the Olympian Hotel as a custodial Supervisor for more than 20 years. She loved to bake and also enjoyed sports, bingo and crocheting.
Surviving in Olympia are two sons, Dewey Johnson and Michael Sharp; three brothers, Edward, Walter and Robert; four sisters, Gertrude Guiberson, Evelyn Hays and Katherine Luedke, and Bertha (Sister Stella Marie), Seattle. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and a sister.
A memorial service for Mrs. Sharp will begin at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 4, in Olympic Memorial Funeral Home, Tumwater. The Rev. Henry S. Rahn will officiate. Inurnment will be in Olympic Memorial Gardens. The family suggests memorial donations may be made to Sound Home Health Care of Thurston County.
