George J. Kramer
George Joseph Kramer, 79, Olympia, died Saturday, Jan 9, 1988, in a Elma convalescent center.
He was born May 24, 1908, to Albert and Mary Kramer in Stuart, Neb. He moved with his family to Olympia as a young boy. On Oct. 17, 1930, he was married to Laura Wiley in Olympia. Mrs. Kramer died Dec. 20, 1983.
Mr. Kramer worked for the Washington Veneer Co., Simpson Plywood Co., and retired from the Olympia School District where he had worked at Lincoln Elementary School.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Joseph (Mary) Shea, Olympia; three brothers, Edward, Walter and Robert, all of Olympia; five sister, Helen Sharp, Katherine Luedtke, Gertrude Guiberson, and Evelyn Hayes, all of Olympia, and Stella Marie Kramer, Seattle; also five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
At the family’s request there will be no funeral service at this time. Cremation arrangements are by Forest Funeral Home. Inurnment will be in the Forest Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
